Hi, I'm Jim DuVal. I'm a painter, sculptor, illustrator, warlock, giant robot pilot and part time mad scientist! I've been a professional tattoo artist for the last 25 years; I excel at creating large scale freehand projects that draw from many classic styles of tattooing and art from around the world. I'm a passionate super fan of all things sci-fi, ninjas, pirates, robots, cartoons, movies, comic books and all things fantastic! My artistic style leans heavily on the illustrative versatility that comes from 23 years of working in a traditional street shop environment catering to a full spectrum of tastes. I thrive in the realms of traditional American old school, neo-traditional, traditional black work and neo-traditional Japanese inspired body suits.
Neil "Nine" Brown
Hi, I'm Neil. I've been working with Jim at Monster Mash Ink since the end of 2022. After years of consulting in the corporate world, I decided it was time to make art the primary focus of my professional journey. My artistic inspirations come from Traditional Japanese and Neo-Traditional illustrative work. I use my experience and education in fine art and graphic design to solve creative challenges and build strong compositions.
